A nice corner shot did that William Westelinx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Sean Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Westelinx to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC Ouagadougou National. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game William Westelinx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Alonso Berganza in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. William Westelinx hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jedrzej Kiszkiel made a kick off. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baba R. Hansen, made in the 58th minute of the game. Baba R. Hansen made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 63rd minute, Andres Calamaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Hamza Yavaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Abdulla Baia replaced William Westelinx. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas was substituted for Jedrzej Kiszkiel. 74 minutes into the game, Baba R. Hansen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulla Baia in the 92nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Ouagadougou National were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
