Matt Sullivan hit a great ball. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. If Matt Sullivan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by 邱雄霆 with Yu Jie Xing as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jie Xing in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Clive Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 43rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When 邱雄霆 fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 77 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
