Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Jon-Inge Georgsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Kristian Åmodt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Morten Ueland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Denis Pumnu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Denis Pumnu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Kristian Åmodt in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Kristian Åmodt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when AC Wipes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Landro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Morten Ueland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Morten Ueland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Pumnu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Denis Pumnu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC Wipes's Hans-Kristian Skåra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Lautaro Puig with Aaron Alcocer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 87th minute, Tor-Arne Waaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morten Ueland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Pumnu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Wipes. When the match was over AC Wipes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
