Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Rábik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Burning Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Filip Rábik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Filip Rábik made a huge save. Burning Angels's attentive Laco Kuzma managed to snatch the ball when Eliseo Noboa made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Filip Rábik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 23rd minute of the match. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Rábik. Burning Angels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Burning Angels from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Burning Angels's Matúš Hanuščak. The supporters of Burning Angels booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Filip Rábik. Burning Angels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Burning Angels's Filip Rábik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Burning Angels from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Burning Angels's Laco Kuzma quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Burning Angels's Ladislav Kubina. Ladislav Kubina charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislav Kubina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Burning Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislav Kubina to maneuver through the defense. Juan Rubio made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Burning Angels's Ladislav Kubina. 83 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Burning Angels's Rado Gazdík quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 85 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filip Rábik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ladislav Kubina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burning Angels's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislav Kubina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Burning Angels's Rado Gazdík. Burning Angels's Laco Kuzma managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 93 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 94th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Costa Rica were victorious despite being under pressure from Burning Angels for much of the match.
