Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. When Ivan Moșanu came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC Inter Sibiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Moșanu couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmad Okhumeode í Lon Jacobsen in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Bitang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Sosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Manciu in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Madajczyk came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Sosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastián Sosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sorin Manciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Manciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes FC Inter Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Chumo. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Dragoş Bitang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Inter Sibiu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorin Manciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmad Okhumeode í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ahmad Okhumeode í Lon Jacobsen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Manciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Inter Sibiu's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save FC Inter Sibiu from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastián Sosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Manciu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
