When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gorka Mendieta made a kick off. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Barbosa came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hauk Thuen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cotinguiba Esporte Clube-'s Hauk Thuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 90th minute of play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
