Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alin Dimofte made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Horia Crăciunescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horia Crăciunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through FC Inter Sibiu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Crăciunescu. Horia Crăciunescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Horia Crăciunescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Crăciunescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Horia Crăciunescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 25 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Horia Crăciunescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. FC Inter Sibiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Horia Crăciunescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute, Mihail Chimeț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Horia Crăciunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Horia Crăciunescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Inter Sibiu defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horia Crăciunescu. The FC Inter Sibiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horia Crăciunescu should have stopped the shot. Horia Crăciunescu was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-13. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu did a great save. Horia Crăciunescu was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Felix Montes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Horia Crăciunescu came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. 76 minutes into the game, Marcu Mitu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Inter Sibiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Inter Sibiu's Marcu Mitu got a free kick in the 76th minute. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horia Crăciunescu, 0-17. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Dimofte in the 83rd minute of play. Horia Crăciunescu was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-18. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Horia Crăciunescu threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Inter Sibiu getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Toader Nicolae hit a great ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
