Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. If Froilan Inguma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 11thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Maria FC's Celestino Columbo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes Villa Maria FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Txema. 14 minutes into the match, Villa Maria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Celestino Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Villa Maria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Maria FC's Celestino Columbo did a great save. After a rather tough play, Villa Maria FC's Venancio Panpili got a free kick in the 16th minute. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Fernan Soter made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play forced Villa Maria FC's goalkeeper Celestino Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Maria FC's Venancio Panpili. But to his dismay, Venancio Panpili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Celestino Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Epifanio Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Villa Maria FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fernan Soter hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Columbo saved Villa Maria FC from getting behind. The supporters of Villa Maria FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Generoso Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Columbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robustiano Oihenarte made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Venancio Panpili came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Villa Maria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Panpili couldn't finish the play. When Venancio Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Maria FC's protests and gave Venancio Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Robustiano Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Villa Maria FC's goalkeeper Celestino Columbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Columbo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Robustiano Oihenarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute Venancio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernan Soter in the 99 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Villa Maria FC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Columbo. The Villa Maria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Columbo should have stopped the shot. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
