After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Andrade was left in no man's land by his defense there! 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Honrio Carretero came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honrio Carretero scored 1-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dé Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of the match. Dé Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Ique Football Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 20th minute Ique Football Club were awarded a corner. Conrado de Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Conrado de Salles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Conrado de Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Andrade having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ique Football Club's Dé Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes Ique Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dé Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dé Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio da Costa in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Dé Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ique Football Club made a substitution. Denílson Paulista replaced Paulo José. In the 69th minute Honrio Carretero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute Ique Football Club were awarded a corner. Conrado de Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dé Andrade when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The nice shot from Cristian Sancho in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dé Andrade had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ique Football Club's Denílson Paulista got a free kick in the 77th minute. Yaseen Bo Hamad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yaseen Bo Hamad went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 87th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Dé Andrade managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaseen Bo Hamad in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Célio Lira. Célio Lira hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ique Football Club throughout the match.
