Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Saksø came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Reha Pekel's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Ferdi Saksø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferdi Saksø slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Pombal in the 13th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ferdi Saksø sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Reha Pekel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 22 minutes on the clock, William Cavalcante commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 24th minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Augusto Arósio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Pombal sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ferdi Saksø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 28 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Humberto Terra who took care of the corner kick. Zemantauskas FC's Humberto Terra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferdi Saksø in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luiz Fabiano Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Zemantauskas FC's Humberto Terra tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdi Saksø got free with Benito Sanz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Scherbaum, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Saksø to make the kick off. If Nilson Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ferdi Saksø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ferdi Saksø who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Saksø in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Otto Scherbaum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zemantauskas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Scherbaum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zemantauskas FC's Otto Scherbaum. But to his dismay, Otto Scherbaum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Ferdi Saksø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zemantauskas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Saksø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Augusto Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 83rd minute of the match. Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Otto Scherbaum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Saksø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Ferdi Saksø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Saksø in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zemantauskas FC fully deserved thier win.
