When Dan Burdulea fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ABK Black Warriors73's protests and gave Dan Burdulea a yellow card for diving instead. 9 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ABK Black Warriors73 the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save ABK Black Warriors73 from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Florin Ciuvică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Baciadonne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florin Ciuvică sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Ciuvică in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Ciuvică came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florin Ciuvică to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When ABK Black Warriors73's Florin Ciuvică in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Florin Ciuvică put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Florin Ciuvică took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mihnea Gârleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Mihnea Gârleanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihnea Gârleanu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
