Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Baciadonne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Baciadonne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. Angelo Baciadonne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Angelo Baciadonne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ivan Neghină charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Neghină the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Gârleanu in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Lera was slow to take the kick. During this time ABK Black Warriors73's players had a chance to rest. In the 43rd minute, Lino Txartiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Baciadonne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Luis Andino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Mihnea Gârleanu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the ABK Black Warriors73 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Gârleanu couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angelo Baciadonne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the game, Mihnea Gârleanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Angelo Baciadonne in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Angelo Baciadonne made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihnea Gârleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Baciadonne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 85th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ABK Black Warriors73's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 87 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Baciadonne was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Valeriu Zoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ABK Black Warriors73 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Zoreanu couldn't finish the play.
