The corner went over the outstretched arms of ABK Black Warriors73's goalie and right to Luca Rouco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ABK Black Warriors73's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Florin Ciuvică charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Ciuvică the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ABK Black Warriors73's Florin Ciuvică got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Gârleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Baciadonne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Mihnea Gârleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Baciadonne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 51 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. ABK Black Warriors73's Angelo Baciadonne tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Baciadonne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Octav Păstrăv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABK Black Warriors73 and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Baciadonne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Baciadonne having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla scored 3-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Baciadonne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Baciadonne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Valeriu Zoreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
