Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alptuğ Ulusu started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ulusu in the 3rd minute of the match. 3 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Esenyurt's Alptuğ Ulusu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 6thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esenyurt's Batıkan İrem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Ali Nabi İhsan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Batıkan İrem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when Esenyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Durukan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Esenyurt's Batıkan İrem didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Esenyurt's Batıkan İrem got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batıkan İrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of play. Batıkan İrem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alptuğ Ulusu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esenyurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Alptuğ Ulusu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alptuğ Ulusu in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Alptuğ Ulusu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esenyurt. 31 minutes into the game, Arif Gaffar Rıfkı threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Christian Sancho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Alptuğ Ulusu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Alptuğ Ulusu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esenyurt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alptuğ Ulusu in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. After the first half Esenyurt were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Batıkan İrem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alptuğ Ulusu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Alptuğ Ulusu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esenyurt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Batıkan İrem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 62 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Alptuğ Ulusu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Alptuğ Ulusu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esenyurt's Çağatay Uluhan was substituted for Arif Gaffar Rıfkı. In the 78th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Esenyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Batıkan İrem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Çağatay Uluhan in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Alptuğ Ulusu had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Lautaro Navarro as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batıkan İrem was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Esenyurt's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıkan İrem came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Esenyurt supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esenyurt would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
