Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldão Paulista took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Zé Pedro Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guará FC's protests and gave Zé Pedro Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Guará FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Baiano. 10 minutes into the game, Jose Carita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guará FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Carita to maneuver through the defense. Guará FC's attack was well implemented in the 14th minute, but when Erlingur Haaland was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 25th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Vieira came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, Guará FC's Erlingur Haaland made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jordan Radojević during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Guará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Radojević to maneuver through the defense. Panama were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Guará FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Nelsinho Nascimento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nelsinho Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nelsinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Guará FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abraham Alguacil in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Nascimento saved Guará FC from getting behind. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Pedro Baiano in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Erlingur Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erlingur Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Ronaldão Paulista scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Guará FC's Zé Pedro Baiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nelsinho Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Zé Pedro Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pedro Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guará FC:s goal. A collision led to Guará FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ronaldão Paulista hit a great ball. Nelsinho Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Guará FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guará FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
