Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Enrico Longo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrico Longo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFA Club's Enrico Longo. Enrico Longo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Longo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Enrico Longo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Staffan Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFA Club's Mariusz Chazen was substituted for Arnaldo Naldo.
