Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mo Salah got the match started through his kick off. The Manly FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Manly FC's Mo Salah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Salah in the 12th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duke Carnduff went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duke Carnduff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manly FC's Mo Salah in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mo Salah's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexander Arnold was slow to take the kick. During this time Manly FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alexander Arnold almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexander Arnold hit a great ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manly FC's Ray Clemence was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. John Aldridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mo Salah in the 41st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mo Salah went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 47 minutes, Mo Salah made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Duke Carnduff made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Mo Salah came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 63 minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ray Clemence stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Mo Salah took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Manly FC made a substitution. Fleming Wal replaced Jasmine Kaine. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Arnold didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Aldridge was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
