Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 13 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Adolfo Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Cañada Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Dragolyub Mantovski. Jonatan Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. Jonatan Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jan Malysz sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Bortzaioriz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of play forced Cañada Juniors's goalkeeper Jonatan Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Adolfo Batista fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cañada Juniors's protests and gave Adolfo Batista a yellow card for diving instead. Adolfo Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Jan Malysz made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Malysz in the 59th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Abayhan Nedret made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cañada Juniors through an amazing save. Jonatan Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Cañada Juniors made a substitution. Sebastian Jaunzuria replaced Abayhan Nedret. The supporters of Cañada Juniors booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonatan Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 汪俊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Bortzaioriz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cañada Juniors had won after a very even match.
