Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Loco. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Loco should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Loco having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Gualterio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gualterio Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gualterio Loco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Nestor Nuxila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Celedonio Gaizkine hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Loco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gualterio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Felix Montes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualterio Loco skillfully saved the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gualterio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Tadeo Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Herauso. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gualterio Loco. The goal made the score 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gualterio Loco in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gualterio Loco quite easily take care of the ball. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Loco. Quebrachitos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. After 72nd play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Gualterio Loco and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard shot 74 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Gualterio Loco managed to make a qualified save. Quebrachitos FC's players were relieved. When Silverio Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebrachitos FC's protests and gave Silverio Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. 76 minutes into the game, one of Quebrachitos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Bertol to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 97th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Artal to maneuver through the defense. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play.
