Silvio Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talib Temelj in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 邓真义 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 武 杨广 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes in the game, Talib Temelj dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. 邓真义 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio-Paul Caniggia was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, 武 杨广 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by 武 杨广 in the 84th minute. Čubrilo Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 邓真义 came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Psycho-Circus's Luis Zárate was substituted for Andres Calamaro. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Čubrilo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psycho-Circus's supporters rose to their feet, but Čubrilo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
