A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kill-Animals the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of El Salvador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kill-Animals:s goal. Ricardo Zorita had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilfredo Huppé's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marty Salter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kill-Animals's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Salter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guadalupe Schroeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Darling came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Phil Darling made a huge save. The supporters of Kill-Animals booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kill-Animals's Phil Darling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Kill-Animals from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marty Salter to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 54th minute. The supporters of Kill-Animals booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Abram Luque notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kill-Animals's Phil Darling. Phil Darling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
