Luis Andino scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Boffin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Motta got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Napoleon Dzierwa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Philip Boffin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Aníbal Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Philip Boffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Boffin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aníbal Motta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aníbal Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aníbal Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Philip Boffin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FURIA FIEL's Philip Boffin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. Napoleon Dzierwa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot FURIA FIEL's keeper Philip Boffin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 72nd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Aníbal Motta notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, FURIA FIEL's goalkeeper Philip Boffin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Motta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Philip Boffin made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Motta in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
