In the 26th minute, Cipriano Rik made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

A collision led to MONCHOSFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Silvio Furman hit a great ball. With his leg Alvaro Amato managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th match minute, MONCHOSFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Lluques to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Amato made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 88 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. MONCHOSFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
