Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. After 5 minutes Hawelka Himalayan High's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 6 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. A hard shot 14 in the game by Chad Pro from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koppány Novák in the 18th minute of play. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fredrik Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. If Koppány Novák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koppány Novák in the 30th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Hawelka Himalayan High got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Näfver. After 37 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Säf in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koppány Novák stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Chad Pro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koppány Novák's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Hawelka Himalayan High from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Fredrik Bäckström in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredrik Bäckström was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-1. 81 minutes into the game, Rutger Näfver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hawelka Himalayan High's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 81st minute, one of Hawelka Himalayan High:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hawelka Himalayan High. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fredrik Bäckström made a huge save. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Fredrik Bäckström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Koppány Novák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Koppány Novák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
