After 11 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Carballal. In the 12th minute, Uruguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vasco Lamego fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Lamego. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 林超青, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. DUGGAN FC's Celestino Dei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Franco in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Mindaugas Kiškunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, DUGGAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Celestino Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Lamego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Dei was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Mindaugas Kiškunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Lamego in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, DUGGAN FC's Vasco Lamego dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasco Lamego to strike the kick off in the second half. Emilio Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Lamego in the 58th minute of the match. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DUGGAN FC's Epifanio Ruisko was substituted for Evaristo Gilen. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celestino Dei. Celestino Dei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Dei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Lamego in the 75th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Lamego scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Vasco Lamego put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Celestino Dei in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DUGGAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasco Lamego in the 90th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
