After having played for 4 minutes, Olof Derksen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinidad 4.7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Derksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Derksen in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Olof Derksen made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Danilo Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Heli having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Alejo Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Trinidad 4.7's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Danilo Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Heli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danilo Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Leonides Jenaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinidad 4.7's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonides Jenaro hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Derksen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Olof Derksen made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Olof Derksen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Olof Derksen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinidad 4.7's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Derksen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Olof Derksen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olof Derksen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Derksen in the 71st minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trinidad 4.7's Leo Ochoa was substituted for Alejo Gurutz. Trinidad 4.7's Emmanuel Mammana pulled a muscle in his leg after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Marcelino Silvanito charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Silvanito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Trinidad 4.7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Txaran struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad 4.7.
