Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amerigo Loreto made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Alberto Santovito in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute, Dave Cavallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Roma's Alberto Santovito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 6th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Loreto in the 8th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alberto Santovito made a huge save. After 12 minutes, Beppe Ricciuti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Roma and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Beppe Ricciuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Roma's Alberto Santovito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play Atletico Roma's Beppe Ricciuti was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Esteban Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Lautaro Navarro had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Achille Palma's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Alberto Santovito made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Atletico Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosimo Liberti to maneuver through the defense. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Santovito having to interfere. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Atletico Roma's Alberto Santovito got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Cosimo Liberti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Cosimo Liberti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Amerigo Loreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Atletico Roma were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Franco Placidi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Roma's Franco Placidi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alberto Santovito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosimo Liberti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Campitelli hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Honduras booed when Atletico Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alberto Santovito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edoardo Campitelli kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Alberto Santovito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
