After a rather tough play, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Arif Gaffar Ayalp got a free kick in the 41st minute. Amerigo Muzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Amerigo Muzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a little luck, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Amerigo Muzi got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amanda Zigiotti hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amerigo Muzi, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Montenegro in the 74th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amerigo Muzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
