The Vipos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Ixaka should have stopped the shot. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With an all-out effort, Vipos FC's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fidel Jokin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Vipos FC's Gaspar Acuña to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vipos FC's Manuel Lluc got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Vipos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vipos FC's goalie and right to Santino Seco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vipos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 26th minute of the match. Kevin Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Lluc in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fidel Jokin made the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Gervasio Ixaka in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafa Santos Borré might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafa Santos Borré ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Jokin in the 67th minute of play. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Rafa Santos Borré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mayer Candelo in the 84th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Vipos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. Manuel Lluc made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zeledon Barbosa however managed to control. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Ixaka. Gervasio Ixaka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Colombia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
