When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho, in the 10th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. I-Made 吕益益's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kopparmora BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, I-Made 吕益益 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kopparmora BK's supporters rose to their feet, but I-Made 吕益益 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when I-Made 吕益益 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Viktor Jansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Kopparmora BK's I-Made 吕益益 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute I-Made 吕益益 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Viktor Jansson had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when I-Made 吕益益 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kopparmora BK's Viktor Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Vitin in the 69th minute of play. Kopparmora BK's Luca Uduleanu was substituted for Arnold Stark. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Vitin in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Kopparmora BK's Sebastião De Angelis was substituted for I-Made 吕益益. After a rather tough play, Kopparmora BK's Tobias Vitin got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Sebastião De Angelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kopparmora BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião De Angelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kopparmora BK's Luca Uduleanu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
