Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomero Lapurdi started the match with the kick off. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Lapurdi in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Honorio Aztore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Aztore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Nuevo Horizonte booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javan Develder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Geroy Ascue. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nuevo Horizonte's Niceto Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Horizonte from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes of play, Nuevo Horizonte's Feliberto Ramirez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Karlus Waugh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jamaica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 22 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Romon Oliver. 23 minutes into the match, Paulino Katia notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the game, Baldomero Lapurdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Katia in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Honorio Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Honorio Aztore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Ramirez in the 48th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Finlay Stair to strike the kick off in the second half. Benigno Chago hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Nuevo Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Chago. Niceto Virila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 62 played minutes Nuevo Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by David Gagriel. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Baldomero Lapurdi took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Demonde Jacobson to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the match, Nuevo Horizonte's Paulino Katia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demonde Jacobson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes, Baldomero Lapurdi made it 2-7 with a short kick to the right side. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Javan Develder hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Leron Sale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Feliberto Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nuevo Horizonte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Ramirez couldn't finish the play. The Jamaica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nuevo Horizonte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
