Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomero Lapurdi kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Nemesio Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuevo Horizonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Meder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Virila was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Julio Chicote capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julio Chicote really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mario Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Nuevo Horizonte's Baldomero Lapurdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lapurdi in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Nuevo Horizonte's Paulino Katia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Lapurdi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Ferrant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niceto Virila. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Lapurdi in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Lapurdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Leo Rutenio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niceto Virila was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 82 minutes, Hernan Gumaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nuevo Horizonte and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Nuevo Horizonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Niceto Virila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Katia in the 87th minute of play. If Julio Chicote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bolivia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nuevo Horizonte had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
