Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. Dida Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 3rd minute of the match. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zé Paulo Velasco, made in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Valente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Dida Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Valente FC's Paolo Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 15th match minute, Valente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Valente FC's Dida Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 19th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Garcia in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Valente FC's Madaleno Baltanas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Paolo Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Valente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Guerrero couldn't finish the play. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, Valente FC's Kaká Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valente FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Franco got free with Dida Trigo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Guerrero went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 43rdth minute of the game Paolo Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Guerrero to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaká Garcia in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Valente FC's Paolo Guerrero got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dida Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dida Trigo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kaká Garcia. After 68 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Guerrero in the 69th minute. When Valente FC's Kaká Garcia in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute of the match, Kaká Garcia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Valente FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paolo Guerrero hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Guerrero. In the 84th minute, Artur Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Paolo Guerrero sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Trigo saved Valente FC from getting behind. The Uruguay manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Valente FC to win.
