The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices came free and shot a quick shot against goal 69 minutes in the game, fortunately Guifre Pilø had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jorge Lesardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Giro Roca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After a rather tough play, RST Sanesteam 1294's Arotza Uriona got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because RST Sanesteam 1294 had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
