Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 3 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 7th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Arioli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 17th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Plouffe to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Steiner hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ben Zehnder made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcellus Walpert however managed to control. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tristan Arioli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Florian Plouffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florian Plouffe to make the kick off. Raik Topuz took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 55th play minutes Florian Plouffe shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Raik Topuz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Plouffe in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raik Topuz in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Topuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Ben Zehnder got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Plouffe succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. The audience was convinced that Florian Plouffe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play.
