Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Anders Söderlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Anders Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolph Grieve made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Honorato Arraz however managed to control. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarando Lastras having to make a save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Hidalgo in the 19th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zarando Lastras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Hidalgo in the 35th minute of play. Zarando Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Atlético Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alan Tamayo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zarando Lastras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a little luck, Atlético Maravilla's Zarando Lastras got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Gonzalez in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Atlético Maravilla were awarded a corner. Anders Söderlund went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Vykan Passarelli to score against Thiago Pliego in Chile's goal. 2-1 after 56 minutes. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zarando Lastras made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Gonzalez came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quentin Gonzalez took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Zarando Lastras in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Maravilla's Dionisio Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Dionisio Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Atlético Maravilla's Zarando Lastras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Maravilla from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo de Queiroz came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Maravilla's Shawn Seracino Inglott was substituted for Dionisio Hidalgo. Atlético Maravilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Söderlund in the 80th minute. Zarando Lastras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Zarando Lastras made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo de Queiroz in the 89th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Maravilla's Anders Söderlund got a free kick in the 89th minute. Quentin Gonzalez scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Quentin Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Maravilla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
