Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fulgencio Berasko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when 俞宇树 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 俞宇树 in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 尤笑洲 in the 30th minute of play. Fulgencio Berasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 40th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 尤笑洲 to make the kick off. After 62 minutes of play, Doookiee's 尤笑洲 made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doookiee's supporters crossed their fingers, but 俞宇树 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Berasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Doookiee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Berasko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Berasko.
