In the 7th minute, Grabiel Escorcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 12th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Santino Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juaneizu Merida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. Grabiel Escorcias short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Grabiel Escorcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Grabiel Escorcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pascual Carballar succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Grabiel Escorcia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nacional's Damiano Fioravanti was substituted for Mendiko Bueres. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Juaneizu Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 70th minute of play. When Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. After 79 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Candido. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Grabiel Escorcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. 95 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
