Grabiel Escorcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juaneizu Merida. Cassius Byrne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Juaneizu Merida made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. After 12 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. Juaneizu Merida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 19th minute of play. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Cassius Byrne slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juaneizu Merida. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 34th minute of the match. Grabiel Escorcia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Juaneizu Merida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juaneizu Merida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Cassius Byrne sped through Nacional's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juaneizu Merida. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, José Luis Rodríguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacional's Damiano Fioravanti was substituted for Mendiko Bueres. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 66th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Monty Rogers in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. USA made a substitution. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 85th minute of play. Marco Day didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. In the 90th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juaneizu Merida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Juaneizu Merida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juaneizu Merida came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Sam Campbell. But to his dismay, Sam Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
