Tomas Illescas scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Luke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of the match. Patricio Costa got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Yeroc FC made a substitution. Martinho Espinosa replaced Zbigniew Koprowski. After 84 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
