Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Venezuela's attentive Patricio Costa managed to snatch the ball when Konrad Hellbom made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arvin Skager. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 7th match minute, Nobels IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinedine Pogba to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Guimarães in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nobels IF the free kick. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvin Skager breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvin Skager having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Nobels IF's goalkeeper Arvin Skager had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dorival Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Nobels IF's Dorival Guimarães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinedine Pogba, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nobels IF's Arvin Skager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 56th minute of play. Ola Lundström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ola Lundström made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dorival Guimarães immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st minute, Dorival Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nobels IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Berdoi during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Nobels IF got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Berdoi. 70 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arvin Skager made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 74 minutes into the game, Konrad Hellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nobels IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Konrad Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Dorival Guimarães made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Arvin Skager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Dorival Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Venezuela fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nobels IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
