In the 10th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 楚镇益. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 楚镇益 came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. In the 56th match minute, ☆冰谷☆〓战狼〓吉安致远 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Kloss to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, 韩军霆 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
