Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Wassberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 6th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luca Espinar hit a great ball. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes MAFFIAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Thomas Wassberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of play. If George Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 26th minute of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAFFIAN's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. In the 35th minute, George Svensson made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Östen Vennersten charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Östen Vennersten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Östen Vennersten hit a great ball. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Wassberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Svensson got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Wassberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gunde Svan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Thomas Wassberg notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MAFFIAN's Hugo Nyman was substituted for Rudolf Josefsson. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Östen Vennersten, made in the 68th minute of the game. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 70th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Mogren in the 78th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAFFIAN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunde Svan in the 79th minute. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes, MAFFIAN's Michel Kjellkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MAFFIAN reached it. When Östen Vennersten was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. The supporters of Honduras booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Vennersten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Torgny Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hugo Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the MAFFIAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Nyman couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, MAFFIAN could leave the field as winners, despite Honduras having more of the ball for most of the match.
