Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Vallin. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Rudolf Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 13th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Vallin came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Vallin in the 14th minute of play. Abraham Alguacil's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Alguacil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Aron Dahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, MAFFIAN's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gunde Svan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Wassberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 39th minute of play. Tomas Berganza scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Dahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 46th minute of the match. Östen Vennersten's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Östen Vennersten helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wassberg was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Kjellkvist during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abraham Alguacil's shot from long distance in the 53rd minute was not bad at all, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. 55 minutes into the game, Gunde Svan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Hugo Nyman replaced Rudolf Josefsson. In the 60th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Dennis Edström replaced George Svensson. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. After a rather tough play, Panama's Dylan Sarmiento got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Mogren in the 64th minute of play. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. Aron Dahlbom made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Dahlbom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 84 minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Mogren came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
