The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Dedê Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Erik in the 13th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parfrente FC's Zé Pedro Marinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Dedê Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dom Erik in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Dedê Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 83 minute of play. After 88 played minutes Parfrente FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Goiano. In the 90th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Basílio Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parfrente FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
