The audience thought a goal was coming when Evgeniy Kobeko got free with Rolando Noboa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dynamite's Matvey Epanchin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matvey Epanchin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Efim Abramov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matvey Epanchin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikhail Hromchenko in the 38th minute. Moises Gayoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matvey Epanchin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matvey Epanchin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lev Meskhi in the 61 minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Evgeniy Kobeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matvey Epanchin. The goal made the score 0-3. Matvey Epanchin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dynamite's Matvey Epanchin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Dynamite from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matvey Epanchin was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamite's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matvey Epanchin came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
