Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mariusz Kornaszewski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roch Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 4th minute of play. The throw-in from Ermanno Puglielli in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Luca Rouco. Wisła Kraków's Roch Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Puglielli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roch Zdeb in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Mexico booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Roch Zdeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermanno Puglielli's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the last second Dante Lacasa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ermanno Puglielli in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Wisła Kraków were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Afonso Rochedo took the corner. The throw-in from Macos Graciani in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wisła Kraków's Cornelio Combarros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mieszko Makomaski got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roch Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Roch Zdeb. Wisła Kraków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Roch Zdeb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Slawomir Galagan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wisła Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 40th minute, Slawomir Galagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wisła Kraków's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Wisła Kraków made a substitution. Gwidon Bambas replaced Mieszko Makomaski. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermanno Puglielli took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Roch Zdeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 68th minute of play. Mariusz Kornaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Kornaszewski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermanno Puglielli took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Slawomir Galagan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roch Zdeb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes in the game, Lautaro Mancebo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roch Zdeb having to interfere. Wisła Kraków's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
