Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julian Murillo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's Eliseo Mina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Herauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florentino Herauso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Florentino Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascal Som hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florentino Herauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. M. Agus Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, M. Agus Young made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Florentino Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 36th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of the match. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell M. Agus Young to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Ermegildo Salamon in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Luz Tejedor. Florentino Herauso made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eliseo Mina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Florentino Herauso in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Peru booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Herauso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alonso Berganza hit a great ball. Florentino Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Gallo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Herauso saved Santa Lucia de Merlo from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Herauso was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 86thth minute of the game Rafael Gallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Florentino Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Mina was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Rafael Gallo to score against Florentino Herauso in Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal. 2-2 after 88 minutes. Alvaro Llorienzo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Florentino Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Florentino Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
