The referee showed Niclas Petersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niclas Petersson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Milagros Cabal made in the 7th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastian Villa immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Morat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Luca Espinar made a precise shot to the right of Christian Morat. Juoksengi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christian Morat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Juoksengi's Christian Morat. Christian Morat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 22nd minute of play forced Juoksengi's goalkeeper Christian Morat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Morat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Juoksengi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niclas Petersson to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Morat. Juoksengi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 40 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Christian Morat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Morat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play. Christian Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Morat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Axel Klementsson to make the kick off. Christian Morat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Christian Morat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Morat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 57 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga had several of the Juoksengi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Christian Morat as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 65th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Morat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Espinar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Christian Morat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Christian Morat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Morat having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Juoksengi's Christian Morat. Christian Morat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Morat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Morat came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Christian Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
