Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Basilio Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Garaona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristian Sancho sped through Lamarque F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Basilio Garaona. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Garaona. Lamarque F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th minute Robert Kaminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Lamarque F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Basilio Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lamarque F. C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basilio Garaona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lamarque F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Lamarque F. C.'s Basilio Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Lamarque F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Maxi Moco. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxi Moco to strike the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Moco in the 51st minute of play. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Kaminski in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxi Moco in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Basilio Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 72nd minute of the match. Lamarque F. C.'s Basilio Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Garaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 82 minutes into the match, Lamarque F. C.'s Alejandro Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match Lamarque F. C. got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabricio Bustos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Basilio Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lamarque F. C.'s goalkeeper Basilio Garaona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
